Yoga is not what i do,
it’s who i am and how i live my life.
Yoga has literally changed my life in a way i could never imagined when i first stepped on the mat.
I was 40 and slapped in the face by life. I lost all faith in life,in myself as a person, as an entrepeneur, and as a wife. I got lost..
One day i decided to give that yoga thing a chance. I really needed to get back on track to be able to love life again.
I walked into that first Ashtanga Class, no idea what to expect.
After 5 minutes i was sweating like crazy and my heart pounded out of my chest.
What was i doing here ? this was clearly not for me !
Anyway, afterwards i had a sense of joy and curiosity. I remember feeling strong, cause i finished that class. It made me smile !
It had been so long since the last time i had been feeling good about myself !
It was that combination of strength, flexibility and the discipline in Ashtanga Yoga that i needed in my life. ( And still do !)
To get out of my comfortzone on the mat and explore, learned me to do the same thing off the mat.
I learned to accept myself and my limits, to get out of my head. I have never known myself better as i do today !
As my body got stronger and more flexible, so did my mind.
Today, i’m 45 and happier, healthier and fitter then i ever was. Yoga has literally changed my life and i know it can do the same for you.
It’s my passion to inspire as much people as possible to step on the mat and guide them to the best version of themselves.
I practice yoga 6 days a week. We are in this together, we face the same obstacles and challenges every day.
You do NOT need to touch your toes to be good in yoga. It’s not about that, you do NOT need to prove yourself on the mat. We leave the ego at home.
